Going to the playground

In lockdown i've been going to the playground. 

I would like to go to the playground now that it's summer. It is probably the best time of the year to go to the park. When i get to the park the first thing i do is take my brother to have a little snip at what the whole park would look like. Normally the parks that i go to are humongous. I would take my little brother down the slide but he would get frightened by how big the slide is, but my brother and I would hide from my sister. When she finds out where we are she would come running after my brother, he would  start running as soon as he had spotted my sister.

After that we had two options left, one was go on the swings or play in the playground. Those were the things that we would do after we got puffed from the running we had done. I would always try to beat my sister on the swings, the game is who can go the highest.

After all the laughter and playing we start to head home but we always try to stay a little long but it doesn't work. When we get home I would go into the (shower aka washing place) . That was my story on one of the things I would do in lockdown.

 Yesterday we were invited to AGGs for a production. The production was based on a movie AKA song Footloose, the end was very romantic it was colourful and it was very dark, it was just like the movie, in the movie they banned dancing.

Last week on Friday there was a magic show. It was very entertaining because he held a book with flames coming out of it. The junior’s went first and it took place in our school hall. When it was our turn to watch the performance there were many acts but it was very cool to watch, in the end. After that we went home with no fuss

We did stuff yesterday.

 Yesterday we did a lot of work but we played basketball on the court at morning tea. The boys went to play basketball vs Dill Worth.  They lost in the end but they still tried. There was rugby too, against Dill Worth they lost, but they kept going and they didn't stop until the end. At morning tea we did a two vs two we didn't know who won because Lincoln AKA (my friend) he fell then slid across the court only a little bit though then the bell rang we took him to the sick bay near the office he put an ice pack on, then a plasters on both his hands and on his knee, then came back to class. At lunch time we didn't do much, after lunch we did a prayer for Mrs Ilaoa's daughter. We sang a song for her, after that we just stayed in class for the rest of the last block, then we made our way home.

my silhouette is about a person going down a slide with a skater board. i picked purple because i thought it would be a good colour, blue, blue is another colour i did because it's the colour of the sky. there is a slide and rail, the persons skate board flips over then he went flying off it. he nearly hit the rail but it went through his legs. that is what was going to happen but its not a animation i wish it was but no, this is art, its fun this term and leave a comment if you may but if not enjoy my blog!!

This is my visual mihi about me. The top left picture is the Tongan flag, which represents a part of my culture. My mum is Tongan so that makes me Tongan. I love my culture i visit my Tongan side sometimes we come and go. On the right side is sports, I used to love playing rugby but now i'm into basketball, basketball is a game or a thing you can play out side or on technology. the bottom left one is family I love my Parents, sister, grandparents,  and all my other family members. the bottom right is maths when i was year six I loved maths, it was like my favourite subject, I would do it at home or school, those are the four things about me and what i love to do if you can or if you want to please leave a comment.

what to do in lock-down

 Intro: KIA Ora My name is Donte and i'm going to tell you what you can do when you are at home during lock down.

Info 1: The first thing I'm going to talk about is when you’re at home you can help around the house, here's an example: if someone asks you to help around the house, you can do it without anyone telling you to. The first thing you can do around your home is you can do the dishes, vacuum and make your bed so there's no fuss later in the day you don't wanna be doing your bed at the end of the day then messing it up again.  

Info 2: The second thing that i'm talking about is looking after your siblings. Another example that I can show you is to say if your sibling gets hurt you look after them and make sure that they stay happy even though they hurt themselves. When your parents are out to go shopping look after your brothers or sisters

Info 3: The third thing is you should always respect whoever you talk to. you should use your manners when you ask for something. When you talk to anyone look at them while talking to you and never roll your eyes at whoever you are speaking to. If your teacher is talking, don't talk. 

Con: So i just explained 3 things you can do while you're stuck in lockdown or at home. The first thing I talked about was how to help around the house.and the second thing is to look after your siblings and the last one was how to show respect.

How to be a good sibling

Intro: Kia ora my name is Donte and my writing is about how to be a good brother.

Info 1: The first thing I love about my sister is that I'm going to talk about it whenever I pick my sister up from her classroom. I will love her and hold the things that are too heavy for her. She asks how my day was and I always say back it was good how was your and that's how i love my sister. Sometimes she wants to play tag. I still play with her even though I have the heavy things inside of my hands. I would still play with her.

Info 2:  The second  thing I'm talking about is engorge your siblings, here's an example  whenever it's cross country you cheer them on to do their best and never give up. Whenever they are close to the finish line you keep telling them to keep going and don't stop. 

Info 3: the third thing i'm going to talk about is how to help your sibling. Whenever I get my sister from her classroom I always hold the things that she can't hold. When we get home she does her homework she needs help, so I help her.
